Established in 1997, Central University is a non-profit private higher-education institution located in the suburban setting of the small city of Tema (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Greater Accra. This institution also has branch campuses in the following locations: Prampram, Mataheko. Officially recognized by the National Accreditation Board, Ghana (National Accreditation Board of Ghana), Central University (CUC) is a medium-sized (uniRank enrollment range: 8,000-8,999 students) coeducational Ghanaian higher education institution formally affiliated with the Christian-Evangelical religion. Central University (CUC) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees in several areas of study.
