Environmental and economic improvements prevailed by Electric Vehicles (EVs) cannot be fully achieved unless renewable energy sources partially or fully charge the EVs. However, due to the intermittent nature of renewable energy, it is challenging to rely solely on renewable energy. Previous works attempted to accurately predict renewable power generation considering the intermittent nature of temperature and wind, but adequate renewable power supply cannot always guarantee. To address this problem, we proposed a novel area-based EV parking-lot model for charge scheduling of EVs with a predefined Service Level Objective (SLO). The attributes of memristors such as their non-volatile nature, simple structure, no leakage current, and fast switching speed present enormous opportunities for various analog and digital applications. It is imperative to develop an accurate physical model of the memristor in order to design digital applications. Hitherto published memristor modeling approaches do not match the practical memristor dynamics. In this work, a new model is developed by considering Schottky contact at the metal–insulator–metal (MIM) interfaces, and a novel memristor is fabricated to validate the proposed model. A bead polymer based on methyl methacrylate and n-butyl methacrylate (MMBM) is first used to explore the resistive switching properties of the device. Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems account for 59% of energy consumption in domestic buildings and 36% in non-domestic buildings. According to a study, around 39% of occupants are dissatisfied with indoor temperature in non-domestic buildings. To maintain thermal comfort and indoor air quality, HVAC systems are widely used in non-domestic buildings. This research aims to develop energy-efficient control techniques for HVAC systems while ensuring indoor thermal comfort. A memristor is a passive circuit element that has numerous applications ranging from storage to processing. The attributes of memristor, such as low power, fast switching speed, and non-volatility, make it a promising candidate for computing applications. To deploy the memristors at the circuit level, a versatile, computationally efficient, and generic model is required to analyze the circuit performance. This article presents a computationally inexpensive, generic, and accurate phenomenological model of the memristor. The proposed model predicts an accurate current–voltage ( – ) relationship based on the current conduction mechanism. The presented modeling technique can be incorporated into any practical memristor behavior by optimizing the fitting parameters. Buildings use approximately 40% of global energy and are responsible for almost a third of the worldwide greenhouse gas emissions. They also utilise about 60% of the world’s electricity. The rise of smart devices and applications has increased the dependence of human beings on machine learning (ML) based code-driven systems. While many of the pragmatic problems such as image classification, medical diagnosis, and statistical arbitrage have been addressed by extensive recent research in machine learning, it still lacks substantial work in the field of adversarial attacks on safety-critical networked systems. It is a matter of significant importance, as using the adversarial samples, attackers are now able to evade pre-trained systems and mount black-box attacks hence increasing the false positives.
