Neonatal death is still a concerning reality for underdeveloped and even for some of the developed countries. Worldwide data indicate that 26.693 babies out of 1,000 births according to Macro Trades. To reduce the death early prediction of endangered baby is crucial. An early prediction enables the opportunity to take ample care of the child and mother so that an early child death can be avoided. Machine learning was used to figure out whether a newborn baby is at risk. To train the predictive model historical data of 1.4 million newborn child data was used. Machine learning and deep learning techniques such as Logical regression, K nearest neighbor, Random Forest classifier, Extreme gradient boosting (XGboost), convolutional neural network, long short-term memory (LSTM). were implemented using the dataset to find out the most robust model which model is the most accurate to identify the mortality of a newborn. From all the machine learning algorithms, the XGboost and random classifier had the best accuracy with 94%, and from the deep learning model, the LSTM had the best outcome with 99% accuracy. Thus, using LSTM of the model shall be best suited to predict whether precaution for a child is necessary.

In this paper, with the assistance of some tools and a machine learning model, a smart wind turbine was formed that eliminates some expensive sensors and reduces sensor complexity. Squirrel cage induction generator (SCIG) and six rotor blades make up the proposed design, and depending on the wind's direction, the turbine itself can rotate the rotor hub to produce energy more effectively. Additionally, two stepper motors are coupled to the yaw mechanism with the aid of the rotor hub, and the entire controlling procedure will depend on the direction of the wind. The rotor hub must continuously revolve in the same direction as the wind to maximize wind energy utilization. Additionally, to correctly predict wind degrees, a machine learning model was deployed. Random forest regression was used to train and predict the wind direction. The model is deployed in Raspberry Pi, where the incoming sensor values are being stored. Using the generated data, machine learning model was trained and it can be concluded that the model can potentially replace some of the expensive sensors to reduce cost. The model can be used for similar weather conditions only based on machine learning model and fewer sensors.

In this paper, Silicon-based MOSFET has been investigated with different gate oxides for knowing which oxide shows the best result. Silicon-di oxide (SiO 2 ), gallium oxide (Ga 2 O 3 ), and aluminum oxide (Al 2 O 3 ) have been used as gate materials for observing the sensitivity, threshold voltage, and drain current of the MOSFET in this study. Al 2 O 3 gate material gives the highest terminal current and faster turn-on voltage (0.7 V) of the MOSFET compared to the other two. Al 2 O 3 delivers the best performance; and hence, it could be a promising material for the gate layer. In addition, electron and hole concentrations of those gate oxides and electric potential have been compared. In this paper, COMSOL Multiphysics® software has been used to simulate the obtained results.

This paper discusses an IoT -based smart wheelchair through which the elderly and those who are physically challenged i.e., those who cannot do the basic movement without the help of others, will be able to do their basic movement. This wheelchair will also allow COVID-19 patients to move from one place to another in a relatively contactless condition at the hospital or airport. This wheelchair comes with a smart band through which the basic physical condition of the body, such as body temperature, pulse rate, blood oxygen, etc. parameters can be known. As the number of transports on the road increases every day, so does the number of accidents. Reckless driving and consuming alcohol are two of the leading causes of accidents. Apart from these issues, the safety of humans and vehicles is also critical. A thorough investigation is required to minimize the accident rate and improve human safety, particularly if an incident occurs. The purpose of this study is to develop a few sensor-based black box system that will help us reduce traffic accidents by continuously providing precise guidance to the driver. At the same time, the evidence will be uploaded to its server for further evaluation. This system also includes a way of detecting drowsiness in the driver. Finally, using global positioning system (GPS) and global system for mobile communications (GSM), the relevant authorities will get information on the vehicle's condition and whereabouts. For security purposes, a panic button is introduced here to get emergency help from the security personnel by detecting the victim’s area.

Women have progressed a lot in terms of social empowerment and economics. They are going for higher education, jobs, and many other similar endeavors, but harassment cases have also been on the rise. So, women’s safety is a big concern nowadays, especially in developing countries. Many previous studies and attempts were made to create a feasible safety solution for women. Out of various features to ensure women’s safety in critical situations, location tracking is a very common and key feature in most previously proposed solutions. This study found mechanisms of sending the location to different types of recipients in various women safety solutions. In addition, the advantages and drawbacks of location sending methods in women's safety solutions were analyzed.

This paper discusses an IoT based home automation system through which home security, room air quality check, and emergency assistance can be obtained. This system can automatically provide home safety, but the user can also control the system manually if desired. The system uses the NodeMCU module as the mainboard and has a mobile application for remote monitoring. In addition to air quality detection, the system can detect CFCs used in the air conditioning system to avoid accidents. If any unwanted incident occurs, the system will immediately turn off the home's main power connection and send the house's status in the form of a notification to the user's mobile app. Also, an essential feature of the system is that the system is able to block the entry of any unwanted person in the house. There is also an assistant robot to prevent fire accidents initially.

Reckless driving is one of the prominent causes of human-based vehicle collisions, which are gradually increasing. Furthermore, due to a lack of real-time evidence, very few further investigations are done to determine the actual causes of these accidents. The central theme of this titled paper is to construct a few sensor-based black box systems that will assist us in reducing traffic collisions by giving accurate instructions to the driver constantly. At the same time, it will upload the evidence to its server for further analysis. Firstly, there is a variety of sensors in this black box system, including LIDAR, alcohol sensors, a camera, and RFID. This technology also has a method for detecting the driver's drowsiness. All of the information will be shown on a monitor directly in front of the driver's seat. Lastly, the relevant authority will receive information on the vehicle's condition and location via GPS and GSM.

Data Augmentation Technique to Expand Road Dataset Using Mask RCNN and Image Inpainting

Data augmentation is a common technique to increase dataset. This study proposes a method that generates image data of empty road dataset. Data-driven approach is a popular approach to training an intelligent model. Various existing researches or new researches that require the empty road to train their data-driven model will be benefited by using this method. The method uses image inpainting to remove vehicles from input images. The model detects the vehicle using Mask RCNN and using image inpainting the model removes the detected object. To increase the efficiency of the method morphological transformation was used. The morphological transformation is also adjusted depending on the output and may need several iterations to ensure better results. The experiment results uphold the efficiency of the method.

Despite the continuous growth in car number, the number of parking places in cities remains inadequate. This proposed solution aims to resolve this issue by providing an automated car parking system with the help of Internet of Things (IoT). The project has implemented features like automated parking service, location tracking, parking management, real-time invoice generation, and payment system. The system can be implemented at a very minimal cost that helps the parking spot owner to earn by providing solutions to the general people who struggle for the lack of parking spots on daily basis. Along with IoT, Image processing, object detection, Firebase and GPS GSM modules, and various other technologies were used for developing the system. The system is integrated with a web-based application and android application for ensuring a better customer experience. The system also works in offline mode.

This paper represents an IoT based tracking system, through which it is very easy to track the child, elder, or any type of luggage. This system has separate features for tracking each of these things, which have been completed by the IoT device and the Android app. It is possible to track anything manually or automatically with this device. NodeMCU, GPS, and GSM have been used as hardware to build the system, and Firebase Server and Google API services have been used for the Android app. Parcel exchange has become very common nowadays. There are three major elements in this prototype of the smart vehicle management system. Firstly, there is a drowsiness detector, which will identify the drowsiness of the driver throughout driving time. Secondly, an alcohol detector will trace if there is any presence of alcohol on the body of that particular driver. The system consists of a couple of security lair to prevent any leakage from important documents such as question paper, banknotes, and statements, etc. from collection to distribution. The system has been made with a Memory module, Ultrasonic sensor, Fingerprint security, RFID module, GPS and GSM module, etc. This proposed security system has been featured in such a way that the navigation box where we will put our question paper can be opened only by an authorized person in specific places and in a specific time. Education is the most important aspect of our life and through the exams, we can judge people's outlook on their respective fields of study. But question paper leak is a major problem in several countries and this project is here to end it.
