Intelligent risk management system for enhancing performance of stock market applications

This paper proposes an intelligent risk management system in stock markets based on indications of social media platforms. Based on a brief survey, we found that the literature focuses on identifying, assessing and optimizing risks in stock markets using classical data sources as well as utilizing mathematical, statistical and machine learning techniques. So, we suggest a trendy data source that is social media and employing natural language processing as an advanced technique to identify and estimate risks in stock markets. Lexicon approach for risk analysis in emerging technologies

This article proposes a novel methodology to analyze risks in digital currencies. It depends on the perceptions of users in social media to recognize and estimate the potential risks. Besides, it includes utilizing high-level computational techniques such as big data analysis techniques and natural language processing. We illustrate the suggested system mathematically and some important expressions for risk analysis, risk recognition and risk estimation are driven in closed forms. Moreover, we present a use case study to extract insights about the potential risks related to digital currencies. Further, some indicators are provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the suggested approach like the mean accuracy for processes of analyzing risks, identifying risks and assessing risks assessment that is 77 %.

A Business Intelligence System for Governing Risks in SMEs

This article suggests a new business intelligence system for risk management in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). It depends on social media perceptions. It uses a lexicon approach to analyze, identify and assess risks. It will help SMEs managers in making best decisions. Also, a mathematical formulation and explicit formulas for the proposed system are provided. In addition, Book Nook enterprise is studied as a use case to examine the potential risks through the tweets of customers. Further, various performance indicators are calculated to validate the effectiveness of the suggested model.

Enhancing cryptocurrency security using AI risk management model

With the help of social media indicators, this study offers a brand-new intelligent risk management model to enhance the security of cryptocurrency. Based on surveying the previous studies, we found most of them focused on employing many techniques to enhance virtual currencies' security. However, there is no study concentrated on mining threats depending on investors' perceptions. These perceptions can give us a clear overview about the critical risks and threats. This model employs natural language processing techniques to perform risk analysis for the interactions of users on social media platforms. Artificial intelligence model for risk management in healthcare institutions: towards sustainable development

This paper proposes an artificial intelligence model to manage risks in healthcare institutions. This model uses a trendy data source, social media, and employs users’ interactions to identify and assess potential risks. It employs natural language processing techniques to analyze the tweets of users and produce vivid insights into the types of risk and their magnitude. In addition, some big data analysis techniques, such as classification, are utilized to reduce the dimensionality of the data and manage the data effectively. The produced insights will help healthcare managers to make the best decisions for their institutions and patients, which can lead to a more sustainable environment. In addition, we build a mathematical model for the proposed model, and some closed-form relations for risk analysis, identification and assessment are derived. Moreover, a case study on the CVS institute of healthcare in the USA, and our subsequent findings, indicate that a quartile of patients’ tweets refer to risks in CVS services, such as operational, financial and technological risks, and the magnitude of these risks vary between high risk (19%), medium risk (80.4%) and low risk (0.6%). Further, several performance measures and a complexity analysis are given to show the validity of the proposed model.

In this paper, we proposed an advanced business intelligence framework for firms in a post-pandemic phase to increase their performance and productivity. e proposed framework utilizes some of the most significant tools in this era, such as social media and big data analysis for business intelligence systems. In addition, we survey the most outstanding related papers to this study. Open challenges based on this framework are described as well, and a proposed methodology to minimize these challenges is given. Finally, the conclusion and further research points that are worth studying are discussed.

Intelligent system for governing risks in smart cities applications

This paper presents an intelligent system to manage risks in smart cities. This system is based on mining social media big perceptions by using natural language processing in identifying and assessing risks. It will help the authority of smart cities in managing risks processes. In addition, a related survey for the most relevant research articles in the area of risk management in smart cities is included. Besides, we provide a framework to the proposed system and describe it mathematically as well as explicit mathematical expressions such as identifying risks in tweets are driven. Moreover, a real data is collected from profiles of London citizens on Twitter, and risk analysis and assessment are performed. Furthermore, performance measures are included to show the validity of the proposed system.

Business Intelligence for Risk Management: A Review

This paper provides a quick review about business intelligence approaches and techniques in risk management. The important research articles from 2007 to 2021 are involved in this review. We found a little contribution from researchers in this research direction, however the vital role of business intelligence in risk management. Moreover, we provide a novel business approach for risk management. This approach includes deploying the trendiest techniques in this era which are social media and big data analysis. Social media represents the source of identifying risks through the discussions of social media users as well as big data analysis techniques which represent the control tool for potential risks. The new approach will help firms and organizations in many sectors to manage risks efficiently and make the best decisions. Further, we provide the challenges of the new framework and the further research points.

Cloud Storage Facility as a Fluid Queue controlled by Markovian Queue

Cloud storage faces many problems in the storage process which badly affect the system's efficiency. One of the most problems is insufficient buffer space in cloud storage. This means that the packets of data wait to have storage service which may lead to weakness in performance evaluation of the system. The storage process is considered a stochastic process in which we can determine the probability distribution of the buffer occupancy and the buffer content and predict the performance behavior of the system at any time. This paper modulates a cloud storage facility as a fluid queue controlled by Markovian queue. This queue has infinite buffer capacity which determined by the M/M/1/N queue with constant arrival and service rates. We obtain the analytical solution of the distribution of the buffer occupancy. A New Analysis of a Fluid Queue Driven By M/M/1 Queue

In this paper, we consider a fluid queue with an infinite buffer capacity which is both filled and depleted by a fluid at constant rates. These rates are uniquely determined by the number of customers in an M/M/1 queue with constant arrival and service rates. A simple series form is obtained for the joint stationary distribution of the buffer occupancy. This method is explicit where the coefficients of the series are obtained in closed form.
